Oberlech is car-free in winter

Children can play safely outside the hotel – building snow castles and snowmen, or having a lively snowball fight. Then it’s just a few minutes to the start of the Oberlech-Lech toboggan run.
No traffic. No exhaust emissions. No noise. And the wonderfully cold fresh air!

Real ski-out and ski-in

Clip on your boots and off you go. Unclip and you’re home.

With us, your day’s skiing starts at the door. When you come up from our ski cellar, you’re in the heart of the Arlberg ski area. You’re welcomed by the Wöster, the mountain that forms the panorama together with the Rüfikopf and Omeshorn.

Lech, Zürs, St. Anton, St. Christoph and Stuben form the Ski Arlberg ski region. Oberlech is right in the heart of it

The Petersboden lift whisks you from Oberlech up to 1,900 metres. Other lifts take you even higher to ski on other Ski Arlberg pistes.
Glide and carve your way down from sun-drenched Oberlech to Lech in the valley.
From Oberlech, experienced skiers have direct access to the legendary “Der Weiße Ring” circuit, which consists of 22 km of downhill runs.

Winter holidays on the Arlberg

Cross-country skiing

Listen to the winter silence while cross-country skiing on the Arlberg. The nearest starting points for cross-country skiing are in the valley near Lech. Around 27 km of groomed trails await cross-country skiers in Lech. The trail along the Lech river from Lech to Zug is particularly beautiful and suitable for beginners.

Winter hiking

A winter dream away from the slopes in Lech-Zürs: 40 km of winter hiking trails lead you through the snow-covered landscape on the Arlberg.

From Oberlech/Tannegg to the Kriegeralpe: 5 km. It’s a steep climb, but you are rewarded with panoramic views
From Lech to our plateau: 2.1 km
From Lech to our plateau via Spitzeegg: 2.5 km
On the high-altitude hiking trail "Gaisbühel": 2.9-kilometre loop from the top of the Schlosskopf lift.

For winter hikers, we recommend the Sonnenabo ticket for ascents and descents. We’ll be happy to give you further tips for winter walking and snowshoeing on the Arlberg.

Tobogganing into the valley

Fun for young and old: the toboggan run from Oberlech to Lech. Toboggan down the winding, 1.2-kilometre forest trail before racing the final section to the bottom of the Oberlech cable car. You’ll be grinning from ear to ear.

The toboggan run is open until 9 pm, so you can enjoy floodlit tobogganing at night. Guests can borrow our mini-bobsleds (also known as Zipfelbobs) free of charge.
