Oberlech cable car

The Lech-Oberlech cable car connects Lech with our sunny plateau, which is located at 1,660 metres. 1,230 people can be transported by the cable car every hour. From the top station, you can enter the Oberlech underground tunnel system, which provides a sheltered route to our guesthouse and all other hotels in Oberlech. We offer you true ski-out and ski-in. The slopes and hiking trails start right on our doorstep.

Summer operation of the cable cars is from mid/late June to early October.
Winter operation from December to mid/late April.

Art & culture

The art and cultural offerings of the region are constantly being expanded. Top events include the ACC (Arlberg Classic Car), the Philosophicum Lech, the Lech Classic Festival and the European Media Summit. A holiday on the Arlberg can also be combined with cultural events such as the Bregenz Festival, the Passion Play in Klostertal or the Schubertiade in Schwarzenberg.

One highlight takes place in Oberlech itself: the “Skyspace” artwork by James Turrell. The architecture and play of colours at sunrise and sunset are a must-see.
