Oberlech is the sun terrace of the Arlberg.
The small, idyllic village with its 150 inhabitants belongs to the municipality of Lech and is located in the east of Vorarlberg, close to the border with Tyrol, at 1660 m above sea level. Whoever spends his holidays here will enjoy the “box seats” of the Arlberg.
Our house stands in the middle of one of the most enchanting landscapes of the Alps. Ski runs (pistes) in winter and hiking trails in summer start right in front of our house.
There are no roads in Upper Lech and therefore no traffic, no noise and no pollution – the place is car-free. The village is easily accessible by cable car from Lech (480 persons/hour). Luggage and goods are distributed and delivered to the hotels by an underground tunnel system.
